Meet the friends of the woods and craft whimsical autumn treasures from nature’s own materials! Celebrate the season with playful animal friends, colorful creations, and lots of fall fun. In this all-new class taught by long-time Daniel Bagley teacher Ms. Stackhouse, students will explore the magic of nature with hands-on projects such as pinecone critters, forest animal puppets, tiny pumpkins and other cozy fall treasures. Children will enjoy discovering their creativity while learning new skills and making joyful keepsakes of the season. All materials and a light snack provided. (*Materials fee is included in the class cost.) Class size is limited to 16.
There will be 8 sessions taking place from 2:30-4:00 pm between October 20th and December 15th

Say yes to chess! Join Chess Wizards for an interactive, scholastic program where kids will collaborate, gain confidence, improve chess skills, meet new friends, and work out their most powerful muscles – their brains! Appropriate for beginner to intermediate chess players, our program includes instruction in tactics and strategy, as well as individual gameplay. Maximum 14 students.

Come experience the joy of garden art! In this class we will make fairy gardens, create gelli prints with plants, and paint fall themed pictures, using our beautiful garden and the magical colors of fall for inspiration.

Join our fun and energetic after-school music class where we sing, move, and play games! This class is designed to help students explore music through lively singing activities, creative movement, and engaging musical games. Through these activities, we will encourage confidence, teamwork, and a love for music in a playful and supportive environment. Come make music and have fun!
Ms. MK will provide a small snack. Students with big appetites should bring extra snack from home. All students should bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

Step into the hidden world of the forest! In this imaginative class taught by long-time Daniel Bagley teacher Ms. Stackhouse, we will bring to life the magical beings who dwell among autumn’s leaves and hidden hollows. Together we’ll craft enchanted projects such as pumpkin gnome houses, wise owls, and secret forest dwellers, with plenty of space for the children’s own imaginations to shape what emerges. Discover the wonder of the unseen world while building creativity, artistic skills, and fun! All materials and a light snack provided. (*Materials fee is included in the class cost.) Class size is limited to 18.

Join Ms. Richards and Mr. W for an afternoon full of fun and fitness. Our goal is to spark an interest in physical activity and health that will last a lifetime. We will be covering a series of health, fitness, and movement skill concepts. We will be working on all the skills associated with pickleball, floor hockey, and basketball. Also, we will be using pedometers and heart monitors during fitness infused games. If you enjoy physical education, then you will love this afterschool enrichment program. So come on down to the gym and be ready to move.

Kids bring home dinner every week! Each week, students learn basic cooking skills while making dinner for their family! Students will create delicious dishes while focusing on the importance of local ingredients, scratch cooking, and natural preservatives while practicing knife skills and kitchen safety. Each entrée will serve 4 to 6 and will be packaged in oven-ready cookware with baking instructions. 16 students max.
Please note that we offer vegetarian options upon request during registration. All our meals are nut free but for all other allergies or dietary restrictions please contact us directly via email before registering.

Limited Scholarship opportunities are available for the Afterschool Enrichment Program. We select scholarships using a lottery system. If you are interested in applying, please download and complete the application below and return it to your child’s classroom teacher. The classroom teacher will turn this into the OFFICE.
