Get ready to sparkle! Join long-time Daniel Bagley teacher Ms. Stackhouse for a bright and magical winter adventure filled with twinkling stars, glowing lanterns, crystal snow candles, and glittering stones. Each week we’ll explore fun materials and sparkly techniques that light up the season and bring creativity to life. Come play, create, and celebrate the magic of Winter with us!

Enchanted Winter Realms: Ice Caverns & Crystal Forests

Step into a sparkling winter world that glows with moonlit frost! In this enchanting new class taught by Ms. Stackhouse, students will explore the exciting magic of the winter realm ~ a place of shimmering ice caverns, glittering crystal forests, and playful snow spirits who watch over the land. Over the weeks we’ll build tiny ice caves, craft crystal trees, sculpt snow beings, and experiment with materials that shine, shift and surprise. New adventures will unfold as we create frosty worlds filled with imagination, wonder, and fun. Come join us for winter magic!

Little Coders: Intro to Coding

Tailored for early readers, this course helps students boost their computational thinking while having fun with friends! Beginners learn coding basics like Loops and Conditions. Returning students tackle new challenges, such as debugging. All students build exciting games, stories, and animated characters.

Lifelong Movers 

with Ms. Richards & Mr. W • 2:30-4:00pm • Grades K–5 • Gym

Start the New Year off with Richards and Mr. W for another series of fun and fitness. The rain and limited day light makes it harder to stay active during the winter. We offer students a dry and safe environment to participate in physically active games. We will be going through a series of fitness infused cooperative games that focuses on teamwork and problem solving through structured play. Students will be developing physical activity goals to focus on throughout the year.

Robotics: Intro To Coding

In this course, students use visual programming to learn computational thinking and core coding concepts, such as code structure, variables, and loops. They apply these concepts to tackle mission challenges like obstacle avoidance, path following, and maze navigation.
