Community Involvement

The PTA is an all volunteer led organization and membership is open to the community and staff. Getting involved is easy! There are many ways to give of your time, money, and/or talent. 

• Join the PTA by signing up as a member here

• Volunteer! Fill an open volunteer role, or help at PTA sponsored events. 

• Attend bimonthly PTA General meetings (in person or remotely)  

• Donate financially to the PTA here, or at events throughout the year.

Participating in the PTA is on your schedule and no amount of time is too little, or too much.

PTA general meetings are typically held bimonthly in the Bagley library with an online attendance option. Meetings are a great way to connect with the Bagley community, keep up-to-date with school news and activities, and get updates from school leadership. General meetings for the 2025-2026 school year are: 

• Tuesday, September 30, 2025 6:00pm

• Tuesday, January 27, 2026 6:00PM

• Tuesday, March 31, 2026 6:00PM

• Tuesday, June 2, 2026 6:00PM

The PTA relies solely on parent volunteers to plan and implement the programs, events, and fundraisers that support our students, teachers, staff, and families. We have several open volunteer roles that are crucial to fill for this year to keep our Bagley hive buzzing along: 

- After School Program Co-Liaison

- Move-A-Thon Co-Chair

- Field Day Co-Chair

- Grade-Specific Community Event Co-Chairs

- Classroom Liaisons

- Fundraising Committee

Descriptions of most volunteer roles, associated responsibilities, and estimated time commitment can be found here. Many roles can be shared as a co-position - if a particular job interests you but sounds like it might be too much to take on, find a friend to join you!

There will also be several event-specific volunteer opportunities throughout the year posted via Sign-up Genius links shared via the Buzz, Monday Message, and Bagley Facebook page.
