Daniel Bagley is fortunate to have a community of families who give time and resources generously to help make the PTA successful. Participating in your child’s school is a great way to meet other families, to use your skills to benefit the school, and to have some fun. There are many ways to get involved.
Not all volunteer needs are during the school day. There are other ways to lend your talent to our school. We are always looking for additional resources or connections – from graphic designers, printing services, photographers, videographers, project managers for events. And of course, you can join the PTA Board!

Want to get even more connected the the Daniel Bagley community? Joining the PTA board is an excellent way to feel connected and engaged with the Daniel Bagley community and also to get to know the Bagley administration and staff.
Open chair positions for 2023-24:
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair
This role is relatively new at Bagley and could be developed in many ways. The DEI chair brings a DEI perspective to PTA programs and activities, advocates for the diverse types of families and students at Bagley and provides a connection between Bagley and the PTA when DEI concerns arise. The National PTA has a DEI toolkit to help develop the DEI program.
Event Planning Lead/Co-Lead
Events bring our community together! We develop a calendar of events as a board and in collaboration with our Principal. This role leads the effort to organize activities with the support of other volunteers. Join the board to make these events a reality!
Fundraising Chair
Fundraising is critical to our mission and being able to serve Bagley students. Get creative about ways to raise money and help make it happen! This is an opportunity to bring vision for what fundraising looks like for the PTA; explore/solicit new fundraising options. Other activities would be to drive forward/manage fundraising initiatives, and communicate with the community about PTA needs and fundraising asks and opportunities (in collaborations with marketing/communications lead).
Minimum requirements to join the board:
- Join the PTA and become a member.
- Monthly 1-hr evening Board Meetings (virtually).
- General PTA Membership meetings, every 2 months (in-person/virtual).
